Rick Perry, you silly Republican. A few days ago, Rick Perry released a campaign video making his views of gays in the military very clear. The video is now second only to Justin Bieber’s “Baby” as the most disliked video on YouTube, overtaking Rebecca Black’s “Friday.”

The video is part of Rick Perry’s bid to be the Republican candidate for US president in 2012. If he does make it, I don’t think Obama is going to have much trouble staying in office. Social media is the new name of campaigning, and you Rick Perry, you have failed in the biggest possible way. Here is a transcript of his video:

I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a Christian, but you don’t need to be in the pew every Sunday to know there’s something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can’t openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school.

As President, I’ll end Obama’s war on religion. And I’ll fight against liberal attacks on our religious heritage.
