COMPETITION IS CLOSED. WELL DONE TO BUSISIWE AND EMMA,
WHO HAVE BOTH WON DOUBLE TICKETS TO THE QUEEN’S PLATE
It’s not only the most prestigious horse race in South Africa, it also happens to be the most prestigious EVENT of the year. It is the one date that we at 2oceansibe refuse to miss. Such class, style and fashionable good times are very hard to match, let alone find these days. Add to that the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate organisers’ policy of limited numbers, to ensure there is no overcrowding, and you’re looking at a stress-free day of true pleasure and decadence.
The L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate has distinguished itself as the most prestigious weight-for-age race in South Africa. It was first run in 1861 in honour of Queen Victoria. In January it will again bring together the most noble thoroughbreds in the country against an august backdrop of blue and white on a day of fine dining and world-class entertainment.
The white and blue elegance that will underpin the Best Dressed and Best Hat competition will be judged by some of South Africa’s leaders in the fashion industry, namely Sam Walker (PopYaCollar), Emily Bell (Marie Claire), Jacqui Kolbe (Milliner) and Tammy Tinker (British Vogue). The day will be captured by professional photographers in what has become known as The L’Ormarins Moment.
The popular Style Lounge will include culinary delights from sushi to gourmet burgers and sandwiches, as well as a selection of the finest Anthonij Rupert Wines. There will also be a selection of vintage cars on display from one of the largest collections in the world, courtesy of the Franschhoek Motor Museum.
We have managed to secure 2 X double tickets for you and a partner. That is if you can win this quick and easy competition.
To win one of the 2 X Double L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate Style Lounge tickets valued at R250,00 each, email competition@2oceansvibe.com and tell us what the theme colours are of the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate. Along with that answer, tell us why YOU should win a pair of tickets.
The best two entries win a pair of tickets each.
Competition closes Friday 9th at 14h00.
