If you’re someone who long treasured that pair of Superman undies you had as a kid/still own today, then this range from Diesel, slated for Spring/Summer 2012 release may be just the thing for you.
They’ve teamed up with DC Comics and taken superhero undies to the next level. These pants don’t just bear the logos and colour schemes of the respective masked men, they also have super powers of their own.
The Batman boxers, see above, have a battle armour design that appears after the briefs have been worn in, and washed a bit.
The Flash boxers have a thermo-sensitive design that appears after exposure to body heat.
The Green Lantern boxers design is photo-sensitive, and only appears when exposed to light- and also glows in the dark.
Finally, the Joker pants have an acid-effect print reminiscent of the infamous flower worn by Batman’s arch-nemesis.
As cool as these are, the one draw back, of course, is that you’re hardly able to go parading around in public with these visible – so perhaps a swimming costume version would have been good (Aquaman?). Also, I’m all for channeling the inner psychopath now and again, but since when is the Joker a superhero? Nevertheless, a cool range indeed. Best get Christmas pressie requests for these hot jocks rolling as soon as possible.
