Ah Internet, you always know just what to say
Fox News anchor, Megyn Kelly may literally be forced to eat her words if an online petition has it’s way.
A few nights ago on the Bill O’Reilly Show on Fox News, she questioned the fuss being made about graphic images and video being released of California police spraying pepper spray into the faces of protesters on the UC Davis campus, claiming that pepper spray was a “food product”, essentially.
Not missing a beat, a petition sprang up online to get ms. Kelly to test that theory by tasting a full dose of pepper spray in the face, live on TV.
You can sign that petition here (and I do urge you to, even if you’re not in the US), while the video follows after the jump:

Also, for your edutainment, here is the official Scoville Scale rating for law enforcement grade pepper spray (third from the top), versus other peppers’ and chilis’ ‘heat’. The Scoville unit measures piquancy by amount of capsaicin present, the chart is from Wikipedia, and clearly, Megyn Kelly has no idea what she’s let herself in for.
