A massive thank you to all the support from the 2oceanvibers out there! We are pleased to announce that recent stats supplied by Google analytics have confirmed that we received 1,1 million visits in the last 6 months. With an average monthly readership of over 100 000 unique readers (some months topping 200 000 unique readers) we are clearly doing something right. What’s more, people aren’t just popping in. On the contrary, they’re settling in quite nicely, with the average visit over 2 minutes.
The same growth and success is mirrored by South Africa’s #1 Digital Radio station, 2oceansvibe Radio, which boasts an audience of over 40 000, with 35 000 downloads of the 2oceansvibe Radio streaming app so far. More and more people are tuning in daily to a radio station which just makes sense. A radio station that makes you feel more at home. With DJs like Ian F (in JHB and will be broadcasting from Melrose Arch by February 2012), Richard Hardiman, Mark Bayly, Lindsay Williams, Colin Moss, Rob Van Vuuren, Luca & Josie, to name but a few – there really is something for everyone. What’s more, you CAN tune-in in your car!
New addition 2oceansvibe TV has taken the SA online TV landscape by storm, offering daily 5-minute shows on a variety of topics, including Rugby Vibe, Tech Vibe (with Ryan O’Connor), Car Vibe, Seth’s MINI Routes, Corne & Twakkie, Fashion Vibe, The Pauly Shore Tapes, The Weather Girls and the hit online series The Compound and Witch Doctor Watts. All premium shows are also broadcast on screens in the back of the Rikkis London taxis throughout Cape Town.
Look out for the new 2oceansvibe app, coming out soon – fully integrating 2oceansvibe News, TV and Radio!
