Saif al-Islam Gaddafi Captured – Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the last remaining member of the Gaddafi family still at large in Libya, has been arrested in the southern desert and taken to the town of Zintan. He was caught while apparently attempting to flee the country. Saif will be put on trial in Libya for serious crimes that carry the death penalty, Libya’s interim justice minister said on Saturday. Mavericks’ Exotic Dancer License Expired 4 November – Mavericks, a “gentleman’s revue bar”, has asked the Cape High Court to help it hold on to its exotic dancers. The director-general of the Department of Home Affairs has cancelled Mavericks’ corporate permits and certificates that allowed it to help bring exotic dancers to SA. The department found Mavericks had displayed “blatant disregard” for the law, but Mavericks’ owner Shane Harrison denied this and was instructed that all foreign dancers he employed had to leave the country by November 4. NASA Unveils First Topographic Map Of Moon – The Nasa science team has released the highest resolution topographic map of the moon ever created. The new map, taken with the help of high-end cameras, shows the surface of the moon along with craters and the mountains, at a pixel scale close to 100 metres (328 feet).
