If you’ve been following the US X-Factor, you might be aware that a country group of four stunningly beautiful angels is currently in the top nine of the competition. One of the group’s four members, it turns out, is from Cape Town.

Dani Knight, or Danielle van Zyl, as she is known in her home town of Durbanville, has managed to help her group, Lakoda Rayne, win the hearts of the judges with their vocal ability and stunningly good looks. Dani remains a proud Capetonian at heart on Twitter:

She moved to Minnesota eight years ago, at the age of 13. She is also the oldest member of the group, at 22, sharing the stage with Paige Elizabeth, 18, Hayley Orrantia, 17 and Cari Fletcher, 17. They made it to the top nine last night.

For the top 12 performance in the video above, each one of the angels was asked to represent a particular season. Any guesses as to which one our girl represented?

Summer, of course.
