Now’s your chance!

Right people, this is actual “dreams come true” material being dropped on you right now, because NASA, of  “one small step for man” fame, has recently opened a job call for trainee astronauts!

If you’ve ever dreamed of walking in space, and participating in possibly the coolest thing we earthlings have ever accomplished, then the position of Astronaut Candidate might be for you. Oh, side bar: you might also need to be an American citizen, have hours of experience flying high-propulsion aircraft, and a postgraduate degree in Maths (dammit!), Engineering or Science.

It’s a sweet deal, if you can get on the programme. The job includes a healthy starter salary, plenty of travel to various parts of the world to meet and train with other technicians and specialists needed on board the International Space Station, and yes, lest we forget, you get to go into space and work on board the ISS for up to six months, where THIS will be the view from your office!
