Sesame Street had its YouTube channel hacked yesterday. For about 30 minutes, videos of Kermit the frog and Big Bird were replaced with hardcore porn movies. Their slogan was also changed to: “Its where porn lives.” As funny as the hackers must have thought this joke was, one has to wonder about the kind of people that would deliberately expose kids to content like that.
The hack was accompanied by this message:
WHO DOESN’T LOVE PORN KIDS? RIGHT! EVERYONE LOVES IT! IM MREDXWX AND MY PARTNER MRSUICIDER91 ARE HERE TO BRING YOU MANY NICE CONTENT! PLEASE DON’T LET SESAME STREET TO GET THIS ACCOUNT BACK KIDS 🙁 PLEASE…LET ME AND MRSUICIDER91 HAVE IT AND WE GONNA MAKE ALL THE AMERICA HAPPY!
YouTube had the content removed in 22 minutes, according to a report. Representatives declined to comment but said the removal of the content was in keeping with user guidelines.
