The latest in a series of phenomenally creative, Hollywood movie style smuggling stories involves false-bottomed cars, parking meters and a total of 16 tunnels. Of course no one was caught in the act, but if you guessed that the tunnels were supposed to be filled with drugs and some very naughty Mexicans, you’d be correct.
So these guys actually tunneled under a fence from Mexico, into the border town of Nogales, Arizona. They would then pop up right under one of the 18, metered parking spaces in a parking lot on the American side, and carefully cut neat rectangles out of the pavement.
Their buddies on the U.S. side would then park false-bottomed vehicles (how gangster?) in the spaces above the holes, https://improvehearingnaturally.com/Buy-Seroquel.html feed the meters 25 cents, and then wait while the underground smugglers stuffed their cars full of drugs from below. When they were finished, they would pop the pavement “plugs” back in place with jacks and cruise away.
All in all, 16 tunnels were found, which means this must have been going on for, well, quite sometime.
Nogales mayor, Arturo Garino was quoted as saying, “It’s Unbelievable”.
Ya, no shit Arty boy. These guys are like the Bear Grylls of drug dealers.
Homeland Security has now advised the city, to remove the meters.
Seems like these guys will stop at nothing. Past smuggling techniques have even included catapults that launch bales of drugs across the border fence – WTF.
