Horsemanning, Owling and Planking are like, so last Tuesday. The art of Batmanning is simple, hook your feet onto an object and hang upside down. The trick? Don’t die. A group calling themselves the Batman Broilers is claiming responsibility. Lets take a minute to laugh at that name. Okay cool. They did however, make a pretty cool video, check it after the jump.

Okay so lets recap: Planking is about lying down imitating a stiff piece of wood (haha), Owling is about perching and looking like your about to reverse yourself on someone’s head and Horsemanning is about looking like you’ve been beheaded. The purpose of each is to outdo one another i.e. the more dangerous the move, the more street cred awarded. Batmanning is similar, except for the falling directly on your head part.

Searching Youtube I came up with a lot of wipe outs, this ‘Original’ (Batman did it first) video and a guy playing the Batman theme tune on his guitar, while hanging from his roof! Check that out here.

Now, if you peg doing something as useless as this, then,well, fantastic! At least then you can justify having ‘Here Lies Batman’ on your gravestone.
