Dave Chappelle’s First Interview In Five Years [VIDEO]

You guys remember Dave Chappelle, right? The comedian. He was sort of a big deal. Then he burnt out on the Chappelle’s Show and disappeared for about five years, staying almost entirely away from the press, until he turned up on San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9 for a morning interview yesterday. Give it a whirl.

I mean look, it’s morning radio, so this stuff isn’t exactly high-minded. Or even sort of high-minded. Still, it’s nice hearing Chappelle talk about stuff – particularly about his recent show in Miami, where he got heckled after his first joke and spent the next 45 minutes just hanging out onstage. And there are a couple of Alicia Keys jokes thrown in by the panicked talkshow hosts.
