At least that’s what Mike and Jim at Research In Motion would have the industry believe. RIM is expected to launch several new BlackBerry devices today in a desperate effort to win back its market share, particularly in North America.
The company plans to unveil five new BlackBerry smartphones today, including its first all-touch screen phone. Imagine that.
Reportedly, the new devices will be available in the US within the next few weeks. Whether they’ll be impressive enough to allow RIM to re-enter the race with industry leaders Apple and Google remains to be seen.
It will be fascinating to see if the embattled RIM can claw back some of its market share with products that are up to scratch.
