When the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister, Pippa Middleton, isn’t appearing on best body part lists all over the world, she’s informing other equally important global trends.  Such as baby names.  Naming guide website, Nameberry, says Pippa’s recent rise to fame has led to her topping its most popular girl’s name list for 2011.  Apparently, while the name Kate has risen in popularity too, it’s not nearly as hot as Pippa.

Together, the familiar Pippa and the more formal Philippa are the Number 1 hottest baby names of the year on Nameberry. Meanwhile, Moms Today lists Pippa as number 35 on its most searched names list, having not even featured in the top 200 list of the most popular girls’ names in 2010.
