A person of limited brain activity has attacked media man Rupert Murdoch with a cream pie as the eighty-year old was being questioned by MPs at a parliamentary committee hearing on the ongoing phone hacking scandal. The man’s name is Jonnie Marbles and he’s hilarious.

MPs were into their final questions for Murdoch when the quick-witted comedian and “protester”, Marbles launched a plate of shaving cream at him. Murdoch’s wife, Wendi Deng, and his son James were quick to jump in and fend off the genius behind the attack.

She then smacked the plate against the protester, as he was lead away by police, who apparently don’t know how to keep a man with a pie out of one of the most important media hearings of our time.

As he was carrying out his plan he was heard to say “you naughty billionaire”.

The self-described comedian/ protestor posted the following on Twitter just before the attack:

“It is a far better thing that I do now than I have ever done before #splat.”

I think I speak for the vast majority when I say: What a tosser.
