It’s bizarre enough when a person is declared dead for whatever reason, but then somehow miraculously wakes up from this death to surprise everyone. Obviously, it isn’t the kind of thing that happens very often. Now, a Russian woman has had a heart attack at her own funeral upon waking up and seeing the mourners that were attending it.

Devastated husband Fagili Mukhametzyanov, 51, had been told his wife had died of a heart attack after she had collapsed at home suffering from chest pains.

As mourning relatives filed past her open coffin at the funeral in Kazan, Russia, the supposedly dead woman suddenly woke up and started screaming as she realised where she was.

Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov, 49, had been declared dead by doctors but she obviously wasn’t.

Mr Mukhametzyanov explained:

Her eyes fluttered and we immediately rushed her back to the hospital but she only lived for another 12 minutes in intensive care before she died again, this time for good.

I am very angry and want answers. She wasn’t dead when they said she was and they could have saved her.

Mrs Mukhametzyanov apparently died for the second time because of shock from the incident, which had resulted in another heart attack.

Hospital spokesman Minsalih Sahapov said, “We are carrying out an investigation.”
