Two young PETA activists in Montreal, Canada have served up a whole bunch of vegetarian sausages to fans at Thursday’s Grand Prix testing. They say it’s better than any sex drug. Nom nom nom.

Melissa Galianos, PETA member, said:

We’re distributing vegetarian sausages made without meat, without cholesterol, and without harm to animals, in the spirit of Formula 1 racing to get people’s ‘engines revving’

She explained why the humble sausage is better than any love drug:

Animal proteins can block blood vessels and arteries to all organs, not just the heart, and result in a breakdown in the bedroom. So we’re encouraging people to get their protein from vegetables.

So if you’re up for the experiment, grab a sausage right away (Do you see what I did there?).
