German actress Antje Traue has been cast as ‘Faora,’ villainous accomplice to the no-less-ridiculous-sounding Zod in the Zack Snyder-directed Superman reboot. I’m generally prepared to shrug off anything Snyder touches at this moment, but since we’re now assured at least one slow-motion high-definition Traue scene, the reboot might be worth looking at.

Variety says that Traue will be playing

“an orphan metahuman with the ability to disrupt molecular bonds, which allowed her to create a mutagenic virus that served as the linchpin of Zod’s plan.”

I, on the other hand, say that Antje Traue has excellent bone structure and is welcome to disrupt whatever molecular bonds she wishes.
