Whether it’s out of the kindness of their hearts or just good PR, KLM has helped set the record for world’s highest dance party.
The story began when KLM announced that they would be doing direct flights from Amsterdam to Miami, at the end of March. When Dutch DJ Seid van Riel and producer Wilco Jung caught wind of this, they tweeted KLM to ask whether they could do them a solid and move the inaugural flight forward a week, so they could catch a flight to Miami for a music festival. Pretty brash I’d say.
But those crazy dutch over at KLM liked the idea so much that they said they’d do it, provided that van Riel and Jung could find enough passengers for the flight which, of course, they did.
The result, the highest dance party ever and a new Guinness World Record.
