In case you were concerned that the impending marriage between Prince William and Kate Middleton wasn’t a match made in heaven, British astrologers have now CONFIRMED that they are highly compatible and could in fact be soulmates.

This ridiculously authoritative prediction must come as a relief to the royal family, given that astrologers warned in 1981 that Prince Charles’ marriage to the lovely Diana was doomed from the get-go.

Wendy Stacey, Chair of the Astrological Association of Great Britain, is confident that Will and Kate “probably feel like soulmates”.  This is due to their highly complimentary star signs, earthy Capricorn (Kate) and watery Cancer (William).  We’re sure they’re over the moon to find out.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles, a broody Scorpio and Diana, a sensitive Cancer, could never have sustained a happy marriage.  Anyone could have told them that their stars just didn’t align.

Speaking more about Will and Kate’s royal partnership, Stacey explains, “Cancers and Capricorns are opposites as water and earth.  As a result, they can read each other very clearly and they have a deep emotional understanding.  It’s quite a lovely thing.”
