The last time I went to the Puma Social Club in Cape Town, I went head-to-head with Herschelle Gibbs – table tennis bat in my one hand, cold brewskie in the other. Hot babes all over my stick. Because that’s how you roll at the Puma Social Club.
I’d kill to check out the one they’re doing in Jozi.
Yes, actually kill.

PUMA® Social Club Brings After-Hours Athletes Together
Sportlifestyle brand opens pop-up retail and nightlife venue featuring bar, table tennis and, sometimes, boerewors rolls
Johannesburg, South Africa, March 2011 – Are you a master at darts? Or a table tennis sensation? If you prefer 5am taxis over 5am runs, then the PUMA Social Club is made for you.
From Thursday 10 March to Saturday 12 March, PUMA is bringing the party to Corner House, situated at 77 Commissioner Street in Braamfontein, for a weekend of late night competition and celebration.
PUMA Social Club is a pop-up retail and nightlife venue that brings the concept of “vintage” social sports to life. Celebrating the notion of being social, not just online but in everyday life, the PUMA Social concept is about having fun and hanging out with friends.
Entrance is free and guests can expect a variety of live entertainment each night, as well as pool, foosball and bowling. After-hours athletes are also encouraged to re-fuel on late night food that will be available through various vendors at the venue.
