Anne Hathaway is Your New Catwoman

In case you guys were worried that you wouldn’t be seeing Anne Hathaway in vinyl leather anytime soon, fear not: Hathaway has confirmed that she’s been cast as Selina Kyle in The Dark Night Rises, the third in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Please don’t talk about Halle Berry.

There was some concern after the initial Warner Bros. announcement that Hathaway would only be playing the part of Selina Kyle – Catwoman’s alter-ego without the whole leather thing. This has been laid to rest by Hathaway’s recent Oprah interview, in which she refers to herself only as “Catwoman” and talks about how excited she is for the part.

I’m a little excited too. I haven’t even made any nerd jokes or anything.
