Businessman and “club supersta” Kenny Kunene’s license disk is two years old. Kunene’s Lamborghini was spotted by 2oceansviber, Abi, at Mzoli’s this last Sunday, 20 February 2011. Kunene’s car was reportedly parked in the middle of the road. Abi claims that she mentioned to Kunene that his vehicle license disk was expired, to which he displayed a lack of interest.
Later that same day Kunene came face to face with the strong arm of the law. No plates or valid license were found on his vehicle, but two “seriously hot young white girls” were perched on the front seat.
Tearing through town in his black Lamborghini, Kunene reportedly saved the two women from a mugging.
“I was driving down Somerset Road [in Greenpoint, where ZAR is situated] in my Lamborghini when I saw these two young white girls struggling with a guy. I stopped to help them and got them both into my car and drove off. I was taking them to where they were going when the police stopped me,” said Kunene.
He was fined R500 for driving an unlicensed vehicle and R200 for overloading his sleek two-seater. R700 is a small price to pay for a guy whose latest birthday bash cost R700 000.
Kunene wasn’t to worried about the situation saying, “my only regret was that I didn’t get a chance to get their phone numbers. They were so beautiful.”
Asked by the M&G if he wasn’t concerned about being arrested for curb-crawling, as Somerset Road is notorious for its prostitutes, Kunene said: “No, these were decent girls. I’m in the business of clubbing so I can spot a hooker a mile away”.
No doubt.
[Thanks, Abi!]
