I was doing my thing in London in the late 90’s – you know, hanging at the Met Bar, getting fussy about pin-stripe suits and enjoying the exchange rate (20 to 1 when I left, can you believe it!). Ok first I want to tell you that I found out the name of the chair – it is a Herman Miller Aeron chair and it turns out there is only one place to buy them in South Africa – All Office. Seriously.. I gave the guys a tinkle and quickly learnt that this particular piece of furniture has been voted the ‘Design of the decade‘ and is featured in New York’s Museum of Modern Art.

What’s more, it’s not NEARLY as expensive as it used to be.

I acquired one in a snap and will gladly enjoy the 12-year 24-HOURS-A-DAY-USAGE Warranty. Did you hear what I said there? They are guaranteeing you it won’t break if you sit on it for 12 years, without ever leaving the chair. But don’t worry about getting piles – this thing isn’t known as ‘the most comfortable chair in the world,’ for nothing!

All I’m saying is they’re going for less than R6,995 at All Office. But that’s not the reason why All Office has partnered 2oceansvibe as our preferred supplier of office furniture.
