It seems too good to be true, but a Bavarian brewery has been marketing delicious sports beer since 2001 and I’m only finding out about it now.

They are promoting it as the latest sports drink in the US by handing it out at the finish lines of sports events and promoting its remarkable qualities.

The brewer, Erdinger, says that the brew is an isotonic, vitamin-rich, non-additive beverage with natural regenerative powers that help athletes recover from a workout. And, as it is virtually alcohol-free, you won’t end up passed-out in a gutter.
