Every now and then, during my long trawl through the Internet, I find some interesting crime news from KTLA, a news channel based in Las Vegas. But yesterday I found three stories about people murdering other people for seemingly trivial reasons. So I thought, I must share.
Thomas Scala, 57, allegedly beat his wife to death because she didn’t visit him in hosptial when he was ill and she also didn’t order premium cable as per his request.
Killed Over Chewing Too Loudly
A man in Latvia allegedly shot a fellow moviegoer as, apparently, the victim was chewing his popcorn too loudly during a screening of “Black Swan”.
A man in Manchester, England, is accused of murdering his neighbour after the auto-correct feature on his phone changed the word “mutter” (a mild insult) to “nutter” (apparently a much worse insult ).
According to KTLA, the victim “had 104 injuries including cuts, stab wounds, bruises and slice marks on his hands, with the fatal blow piercing his heart.”
So the next time your boyfriend/ girlfriend says “Stop chewing like that, it makes me want to kill you.” You should probably stop.
