That headline just about says it all. Justin Bieber’s 3D documentary, ‘Never Say Never’, took $30.3 million in its opening weekend at the US box office. Apparently 60% of its audience were women under the age of 18. Surprising, that.
The film was just edged out of the number one spot by Adam Sandler’s new comedy with Jennifer Aniston, which isn’t in any way reassuring. But, thankfully, some balance was restored to the universe last night, when Bieber failed to win the Best New Artist award at the Grammys. Instead the award went to Esperanza Spalding. Yes, we don’t know who that is either, but this didn’t stop Bieber’s fans from attacking her Wikipedia page in an estrogen-fueled rage.
Proving, once again, that hell hath no fury like a tween woman scorned.
