Since the 7th of February, when some random guy posted a comment on Dave Bing, the mayor of Detroit’s Twitter feed suggesting a statue of Robocop be erected in that city, the internet has been ablaze with ideas on how to achieve the feat.
I had a similar idea recently when I saw Peter Weller as Stan Liddy in Dexter season 5. I couldn’t stop thinking that they really need to remake Robocop. And since you never actually need to see Peter Weller’s face, he could reprise his role as the world’s most wooden character, next to his current role in Dexter, of course.
But enough of that.
The money for making the statue is being raised through the entrepreneurial website Kickstarter, so get your shekels together for this worthy cause. You can also join the Facebook group.
