So, you currently live the holiday here in South Africa. But what happens if you’d like to go and live it in France like Seth does for a month once a year? Well, now you can! With the FREE iTunes Google Translate app. Basically this is what Google refers to as “a small glimpse at the future of search.”
Finally something has come along that will revolutionise your travel experience when you go and live the holiday overseas. Probably most important is the fact that this little piece of software comes from arguably the most experienced company in the world to be able to produce such radness, other than the Oxford English Dictionary posse of course.
Currently it will support translation for 15 languages via the “voice input” function and a total of 50 for word or phrase translation. It is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch at the moment but expect more from this app soon.
The new app for Apple was unveiled on Tuesday, after being launched for Android in January, and is also sure to be a hit amongst nomadic businessmen and women. Gone are the days of ridiculous hand gestures and weird baby-like words that you think may mean something.
