An immigration officer in the U.K. tried to rid himself of his wife by adding her name to a list of terrorist suspects.  What really upsets me here isn’t the abuse of power, but the fact that he didn’t think of outsourcing his expertise to the hordes of miserable husbands all over the world before being caught.

The man achieved the feat by using his powers to access the immigration security database, where he added his wife to a watch list of people banned from boarding flights to the U.K.  As a result of his actions his wife was unable to return home for three years after having originally gone to Pakistan to visit family.

His tampering went undetected until he was selected for promotion and his superiors did a little background check, finding that his wife was essentially listed as a terrorist.

Unfortunately, his bosses weren’t very understanding, and he was promptly fired, but he did however buy himself three year priceless nag-free years.
