Gone are the days of true superheroes. We want to see a world of “every-day” superheroes who are just like us, but with more courage/ stupidity.
This trend has bread movies like Kick-Ass and Scott Pilgrim Against the World and even real-life “heroes” like Phoenix Jones, who very recently had his nose broken. So when I discovered this video made by Michael Ashton for a pitiful $300 I had to share it with the world.
The acting is pretty crappy and the directing is, well, also crappy, but the graphics are incredible, especially the last “time freeze” sequence. Just ignore the fact that when the characters all freeze you can clearly see them moving.
