South African police commissioner Brigadier General And Commander of The Forces of The Liberated World (and original gangsta) Bheki Cele was really impressed with his police work yesterday when he swooped down from on high in his mighty helicopter.
The target of his wrath was a house in the township of Katlehong, East of Johannesburg, where police minions had found a large arms cache.
The weapons found included: “four detonators, two rocket launchers, six F1 hand grenades, one CSC rifle grenade, two AK-47 rifles, three Uzi sub-machine guns, one R1 rifle, one .303 rifle and one silencer.”
The ammunition included AK-47 rounds, R1 rounds, R5 rounds, 9mm rounds, shotgun rounds and .38 revolver rounds.
There were also a number of gold bracelets at the scene, possibly a great temptation to some crooked cops, but not to a classy gent such as the commish.
Bheki was most pleased by the find saying that all those guns and ammo are “the best Christmas and New Year present”. I personally like a nice piece of fruit cake, but when you have one as a police commissioner, guns and ammo will do.
