Increasingly it seems like Assange is a bigger story than the cables he appears to be releasing – HiLoBrow artist, Joe Alterio, tries to put that right with his series of illustrations paired with the more bizarre political activities revealed in the latest batch of Wikileak cables. Expect dirty dancing and ninja assassins.

The illustrations help – because hey, who doesn’t like pictures – but the revelation that the PM of Kazakhstan spent a night dancing his sorrows away, alone, gladdens my generally apathetic heart. Less so by the fact that martial artists are recruited as assassins in Azerbaijan.
