The new Viber app for iPad and iPhone allows you to make free VOIP (voice over internet protocol) voice calls. It works swimmingly with a moderate WiFi connection, and is the bomb-diggity on 3G.
It should be emphasised that VOIP is pretty much the only kind of voice call that 2oceansvibe condones, outside of long chats with your mumsy.
Why is that?
Voip gives you the freedom to let people know that you’re available or unavailable, but still stay connected. That is to say, more freedom of choice with regards to how you communicate.
The best part about viber is that you don’t need to register to use the service, unlike Skype. And you can call via your iPad, man!
So, vibers, enjoy the Viber application.
You can find it on the Apple App Store.
