There seems to be a lot of people still addicted to phone calls of late – desperately wanting to cover detail which has/could’ve been discussed and confirmed in email. So here we are – stuck between people who have progressed, and others who have replaced the phone cord with what seems to be an invisible umbilical cord. Which brings us to the new 2oceansvibe website – listen to this..
The design and development of this new 2oceansvibe website took around 5 months. It could have been quicker, but we wanted it to be perfect – the result of which has received much praise. Thanks for that 😉
Back to the design and development process – just this week I had lunch with the designer, Peter Lumb from One Hundred Percent. It was only then that we realised that we hadn’t seen each other for quite some time. Since before the new website development began! But then we took it one step further and it dawned upon us that between Peter, myself and the genuis Perel brothers development team at Obox, not ONE phone call had been made.
Now surely if we can accomplish this, we can manage the diarising of a lunch or the login details of a website or a pre-interview brief? Especially since 99% of all these persistant calls result in one of the parties having to email the other? Why not start with that.
We did.
And look what happened – we made it to the other side, with no unnecessarily rude interruptions. No-one chose to ring a bell in the other person’s life. Like a dog.
It’s 2010, people – grow up.
*ps. some people seem confused as to what my motive is regarding this whole concept. I’ll tell you right now – it’s nothing more than a deep desire to help YOU. I just want to liberate as many people as possible – because if you get this right then you too can ‘live the holiday.’ Why do you think I gave you www.getusitunesaccount.com? I just want you to have the best time possible.
