In an announcement that has shocked no one, a Hollywood actress has admitted to using cocaine. What is interesting, however, is that this particular Hollywood actress is Carrie Fisher and she admits to using the drug while filming the second Star Wars film, The Empire Strikes Back, on the set of the Ice Planet. The Empire Strikes Back? More like Return of the Get High! Am I right? Zing!

Carrie Fisher, who starred in Star Wars – The Empire Strikes Back as Princess Leia has reconfirmed one of Hollywood’s worst-kept secrets. She was mashed on Columbian marching powder for the shooting of The Empire Strikes Back.

J.W. Rinzler, author of The Making of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, describes how Fisher would regularly leave the set because she was “sick”, saying in an interview about the book: “Well it was obvious she wasn’t just sick all of the time. She was a young kid living in London, going to parties and all of that stuff”.

Fisher said in a recent interview: “I didn’t even like coke that much, it was just a case of getting on whatever train I needed to take to get high. Slowly I realised I was doing a bit more drugs than other people and losing my choice in the matter”.

It’s currently unclear whether her drug habit was a result of finding Harrison Ford hiding naked in her closet.
