You gotta admit, there’s been an awful lot of alien talk being thrown around these days. We just had a pretty hectic UFO sighting in China, which closed down an airport – you can see that report and video here.
Then, not two weeks ago, came reports that the UN had appointed an official alien ambassador, on behalf of Earth. A ‘Special Envoy,’ as it were. Then, suddenly, it was reported as nonsense, which is weird, given that it was initially reported by the Sunday Times (UK). Although Murdoch-owned, they’re not exactly prone to dreaming up fantastical stories – that they leave to their jive-talkin’ pit-bull cousin, The Sun.
But now you’ve got guys talking about ‘alien disclosure,’ and the fact that Obama is about to make the first move. Sheesh, that’s pretty spicy! Although it certainly is the kind of thing Obama, being the progressive type would do. Maybe it’s not that spicy? The Times certainly didn’t don’t think so..

A comet or asteroid strike being imminent, a new way to harness solar power to replace oil, or how about life being found on Mars? While all of these scenarios are feasible as possibly happening, the rumors on the Internet are pointing to Obama being the first world leader to actually announce that intelligent alien life has been found and confirmed. According to most accounts, once Obama makes the initial announcement, then other world leaders will come forth as confirming it. To make the news even more shocking (not that it is already shocking enough) is that most of the rumors circulating on the internet mention nothing about SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) being the one responsible for finding this alien life. There are a number of different scenarios being played out on the Internet concerning exactly what the announcement will contain. The most common ones mentioned are listed below:
