A national hero
For breakfast, it’s steak porridge.
For lunch, it’s steak.
Around 3pm it’s a blended steak meal replacement.
For dinner, it’s steak, with a side of biltong.
We could be talking of no other than South Africa’s freshest Guinness World Record holder, Jan Braai.
Our man did us proud by braaing consecutively for more than thirty hours, meat always on the griddle, coals always hot, and a twinkle always in the eye. Pretty average stuff over a weekend for Jan, really.
Jan claiming his rightful place in history
In addition to the holding the Guinness World Record for the longest consecutive open air barbecue, Jan is now the undisputed Man of South Africa. With a capital “M”.
