My God, when we announced the Boschendal Cooling Towers competition, we didn’t expect anything this world class to appear!
We asked you, the 2oceansvibe readers to send your best footage of the Athlone Cooling Towers (or, rather, the “Ladies of Athlone” – a title which I have NEVER heard before) going down last Sunday. Obviously the actual footage captured was few and far between, given that the Mayor of Cape Town blasted them four minutes ahead of schedule.
Lucky Crispian A from iKraal managed to not only capture the event, but he also took things to the next level.
