Dennis Hopper Is Dead – The hellraising Hollywood actor and director best known for his wild roles in Easy Rider, Blue Velvet and Apocalypse Now, died yesterday at the age of 74 after a battle with prostate cancer. Despite bitter disputes with his wife in recent months, the actor died at his home in the Los Angeles beachside district of Venice, surrounded by his “nearest and dearest”, according to friends.
