God, how emboerrissing!
“Pistol” Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi ended up at each other’s throats during a Haiti charity event in California this weekend.
16,000 people turned up to support the action, which included a doubles match with Pete Sampras and Roger Federer on one side, and Andre Agassi and Rafael Nadal on the other. Each player wore a hands-free microphone, which added to the interactivity and humour of the event. Although that’s what the organisers thought.
The result was very different, with Sampras and Agassi trading insults and making the atmosphere so awkward you will feel it at home right now.
Especially when Pete hits a ball directly at Andre.
I swear.
Check it out:
I’d say that little exchange was more blind for Pete, than for Andre. Getting a name for being a bad tipper is pretty shit going.
Not that it was the first time. Andre did refer to it in his recent tell-all book.
