Unprecedented visuals here in Cape Town, as the nature of the prawn is, once again, under further analysis.
This incredible report filed by Paul M:
Dear Seth
I was happily fighting the last few minutes of bottlenecked traffic on Kloofnek, homebound to Camps Bay this afternoon at around 17h30.
Crawling in 1st gear after I had managed to shift myself from the double lane into the single lane, something suddenly overtook me with pace, on my left, and caught my eyes….
Initially I almost shat myself, as I wasn’t expecting any movement (vehicles, motorbikes or scooters) to be coming up on the left, as traffic was now officially hurded into the single lane.
Hello! What’s this? With my airconditioned knuckles, I rubbed a conbination of amazement, and disbelief, from my eyes…. regained some focus…. and sat with my jaw on the car floor, witnessing what seemed to be an Unidentified Cycling Prawn, athletically maneuvering itself up the steep hill, on what appeared to be a piece of extreme circus equipment!!!
Can I help you?Was anyone else there for the unusual “sighting”?
Yours flabbergasted,
Paul Moolman
Cape Town
Unbelievable scenes there on Kloof Nek, Paul. Thanks for sharing that with us.
I think we should all take that on board and just go home and think about it.
What does this mean for us, as a city.
