No, I am not spicing you. The unidentified man bought the car (and Audi R8) in December (probably from Audi Centre Cape Town) for around R1.4m and reckons that he had a dream, telling him to come to Table Mountain. So he rocks up at the mountain, asks the car guards who has drivers licenses and gives the car to two of them to share. He tells them that “if you can help others, you must give without wanting in return.”
Needless to say, the duo cut a SLIT in in the bonnet so for, and get this, “people to drop off messages or give donations.” I drive an Audi R8 from time to time and I can confirm that the engine is indeed in the boot of the car. Although I am yet to cut a slit into the bonnet..
Check it out. This from the Cape Argus:
“Fabrice” and “Desire” (really), chilling with their new ride.
So now the okes are doing the right thing and using the supercar to drive around Cape Town dropping off food and donations to those in need.
Epic. Simply epic.
There is speculation as to the man’s identity, with many people suggesting that it is Tiger Woods, having “seen the light” after a group session at Montrose Place.
No, seriously.
