I know, it’s been a while since we were graced by the presence of the great man. Nearly a full month, if you go by the last sighting of him featured on the TBG (Tall Blonde Guy) Sightings page. But I wasn’t worried. After all, we know that He will always be there.

It’s no secret that the symbol of all things beautiful and amazing gets around – and last weekend was no different, as we witness a wonderful moment for one of His people.

They say you have more chance of winning the lottery five times, than having two TBG sightings. Well that must mean that Liezel T is one very lucky little girl.

This time, twas in the seaside town of Scarborough. God knows what this will do to the real estate in the area..

You know…. I shouldn’t really be sending you this….. it’s just too unreal. I mean, this was the SECOND time I have seen Him. Few have had the luck I have had…. which is what convinced me to share it.

Casually sipping my Chardonnay on Saturday at the Cape Farmhouse in Scarborough….. I scanned the crowds behind me (which was awesome just by the by)….and I saw Him.

At first I couldn’t bring myself to just go up to Him and ask for a pic, so I took a few paparazzi snaps….. you know. The TBG sipping his beer. The TBG bending…. I mean nobody bends like the TBG; and the TBG sharing what must have been some kind of awesome joke. (laugh, laugh, chuckle, chuckle).

Then I pondered for a while. You know this doesn’t happen to ANYONE!!! Nobody gets to see Him twice in a lifetime right?? So I gave it my all and asked Him for a pic.

And what a pic it is!!!!!!!!! Look at the joy in His face. Look at MY JOY!!!!! (delirious I tell you!!!)

Anyhoo……after that, I watched The Dirty Skirts with a different kind of happiness. The kind you only get….. from the TBG.

I’m genuinely shaken. What an incredible stoke of luck! Liezel, it’s quite clear that you’ve got something special going on. This kind of shit doesn’t happen to just anyone. You are blessed – and you know what the beauty of the whole things is? You’re aware of it. And that, my girl, is something special – to acknowledge your good fortune and not to pretend it’s normal.
