I’ve been following these guys for a while and once mentioned a concert they were doing at The Bay hotel. Anyway, it has just come to my attention that they have entered that new SA’s Got Talent competition. They’re called D7 Live and they’re an acapella group (ie. no instruments – they make their own with their mouths).

For those who don’t know about it, the last round before the semi finals is on Monday, at the CTICC in Cape Town. It is being screened in September on SABC 2, and could actually be a semi decent reality show (if the SABC doesnt go bankrupt). Anyway, the prize money is R250 000 and a chance to perform at The Presidential Gala Dinner. D7 will be jamming in front of a live audience and judges including Shado Twala, Randall “knob-end” Abrahams, and Ian von Memerty of Strictly Come Dancing fame. This is a little teaser of what to expect….from the D7 camp… Listen all the way through and enjoy the transformation from Timberlake to Goldfish!!
