Whilst the TBG’s (Tall Blonde Guy) spell is being felt and discussed as far afield as New York, I received this TBG sighting over the weekend.

In a very rarely seen twist of fate, a Capetonian managed to double up an incredible 33rd birthday with a TBG sighting!

I mean, REALLY, what are the chances!!??

Last night I had my 33rd birthday party at Woodstock Lounge having a total blast.

Afterwards we decide to get something to eat at the Engen Woolies.
I did not think the night could get any better when my wife tells me, in that hushed tone one uses when discussing Da Vinci’s finest at the Lourve: “There’s the TBG!”

I cannot tell you how much better that made my birthday. I was in the presence of sheer awesomeness! And on my birthday!

Thank you TBG for making this the best of my 33 birthdays!

If the TBG wasn’t the symbol of all things good and amazing in the world, I’d swear this was staged! I mean, to think that some people wait a lifetime to feel the aura and be present in the TBG’s greatness, and here Shaheen gets it ON his very birthday!

We should also congratulate Engen and Woolworths for facilitating such late night TBG sightings! If it wasn’t for the 24 hour Woolies in Gardens, this may never have happened!
