There have been all sorts of claims and suggestions as to the Top Gear TV show mystery precision driver, The Stig’s identity over the years. While it is understood that they have changed from time to time (previous article here), yesterday’s Top Gear show (jokingly) revealed someone who you probably didn’t expect. One of the biggest names in Formula 1 history – Michael Schumacher..
Michael Schumacher revealed
as “The Stig”
This, from The Mirror:
Top Gear’s The Stig takes off his mask to reveal Michael Schumacher
The German seven-times former Formula One champion dramatically took off the Stig’s famous white helmet and winked during an interview with presenter Jeremy Clarkson.
The studio audience had urged him to reveal his true identity chanting “off, off, off” after Schumacher, 40, made a surprise appearance on the show.
But the unveiling may have been a hoax. Many viewers were unconvinced, believing that the white overalls and helmet are shared by several drivers.
A BBC insider admitted it was done “as a joke.” A BBC spokesman said: “We never reveal who or what the Stig is.”
Naughty, Michael!
Ja, good one. Don’t forget to check out our previous article about The Stig’s identity (here).
That story has nothing to do with the fact that Michael Schumacher is a massive fan of 2oceansvibe. Here we are together a few years back.
Seth Rotherham and Michael Schumacher
Just chilling..
Thought you might enjoy that.
RIIIIIGHT, moving swiftly on!
*please note that my attire was not my own! After a heavy day of activity, a change was needed and the clothing (in particular the shorts) were borrowed from one of the entourage!
