Personally, I think The Sun newspaper made a slight error earlier on, when they reported (here) Mel Gibson‘s fling he was having with a woman by the name of Oksana. You see, that one’s surname was Pochepa, whereas the one now carrying his child is, in fact, Oksana Grigorieva.
Naughty Sun!
Oksana Grigorieva and Mel Gibson
Very sophisticado looking, I thought. And she has very similar features to Natalie Imbruglia, don’t you think? Speaking of which, did I ever tell you the story about The Fabrics Guy and Natalie Imbruglia? Not? Please remind me next time I see you.
Let’s jump back to Mel and Oksana.
The equally reliable TMZ reports:
We’ve learned Mel Gibson’s girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, is pregnant with his child.
Our sources say Gibson has already told his estranged wife, Robyn, and their children about the news. We’re told Oksana is in her second trimester.
Robyn filed for divorce on April 13.
By the way, Oksana is living in a house Mel got for her. And guess what else? Until recently, Oksana was living in a house purchased by songwriter/producer David Foster, with whom she also had a relationship.
For the (mostly) guys out there who don’t know what a “second trimester” is, let’s me try to explain it to you. A “trimester” is basically a period of three months, so the SECOND trimester (as in Oksana’s case) would be months 4 through 6 of the pregnancy. You’ll find that most women feel more energized in this period, and begin to put on weight as the symptoms of morning sickness subside and eventually fade away.
While we’re at it, I would also just like to mention that although the foetus begins moving and takes a recognizable human shape during the first trimester, it is not until this, Oksana’s second trimester that movement of the foetus, often referred to as “quickening”, can be felt.
I should add that this typically happens in the fourth month, more specifically in the 20 to 21 week, or by the 19th week if the woman has been pregnant before, which I cannot confirm in Oksana’s case. I would probably need to examine her.
Ja. So, uhhh… pretty interesting stuff.
Ja…
