It’s a month on since the last TBG (Tall Blonde Guy) sighting which took place in the hamlet of Koringberg (here). We have received persistent rumours that he is currently in London, but he must surely have only JUST left, what with this very fresh TBG sighting by 2oceansvibe Character “The Character Formlerly Known as The Loose Forward ,” Bob Skinstad, just this Sunday in Noordhoek.

Oh my word I cannot believe my luck! Now I know everyone talks about how lucky they were to stumble upon the TBG, but it is not often that the TBG comes to YOU!

 

Bob S gets his moment with the great man

 

Living in Noordhoek does not afford us the pleasure of too many celebrities, let alone global celebs and men of mystery, so the last thing I expected on Sunday was to have the The TBG positioned in my line of fire at Cafe Roux in Noordhoek.

I was strolling along to meet some friends and, come to think of it, there was an inordinate amount of birds chirping in the trees, children laughing and general happiness in the air. I looked up and a sharp white light was pointing down from the sky towards a table at Cafe Roux. I looked a little closer and, would you believe it, there sat THE TBG! His reported aura is everything and more than what has been said before. I cannot describe it fully as Latin is not my mother tongue.

As a Noordhoek local, I didn’t want to seem out of place and had to concentrate to keep my cool and act like these things happened every day. I plucked up enough courage and went up to him to introduce myself and welcome him to the area.

WHAT an amazing guy! He was super cool and thanked me for the support. “You probably want a picture?” he asked, which was obvious as I didn’t realise I was subconsciously holding my phone like a camera! (How “emboerrissing”!).

So before I said anything silly I just said “YES PLEASE TBG!” and got this shot.

What a moment. What a day. What an incredible man.

I would like to add that, unlike other celebs I have met, he is a lot taller in person!
