Wow! Can you believe it, Joost has decided to drop all charges against Heat magazine! You might remember that he has been saying the whole way through that he would be laying charges.
That was, of course, after he maintained that the person in the video was wearing a brand of socks that he never buys, as well as the fact that the guys cock was much bigger than his. I am not making this up.
Joost van der Westhuizen
and his current wife, Amor.
Heat Magazine then released the Joost van der Westhuizen sex tape and, again, Joost promised he would be laying charges.
But now, this from EyeWitness News:
It appears the Joost van der Westhuizen sex tape saga is at an end – but there are still several questions about the video.
Van der Westhuizen and private investigator Mike Bolhuis say they are now moving on.
Several weeks ago the pair was adamant the former rugby star would lay charges.
They say it is not an admission of defeat but that they do not want to spend time or money fighting the issue.
They say the do not want to expose van der Westhuizen’s children to further media reports.
It is still not clear who was behind the making of the video or what their intentions were.
It is also unclear whether the former Bok captain is the man in the video.
Van der Westhuizen has maintained his innocence throughout but Heat magazine, which published the footage, says it is clear that it is him.
Good one, Joost.
Hmm, personally I’d definitely see it through and clear my name. That’s IF I was sure it wasn’t me. You know, for my family, at the very least..
